| Preceding
the Christian holiday of Lent, Carnaval is
the highlight of the Brazilian year, consisting
of three exciting days and four vibrant nights
of more than 6,500 costume balls and festive
street parades. ICDC members joined other
young professionals in DC celebrating one
night of this year's Brazilian Carnaval at
the Carnaval celebration hosted by Linden
Circle Young Professionals of Meridian International
Center. We danced the night away to the sounds
of a live samba band, enjoyed chef exhibition
stations to savor cuisine with a Brazilian
flair, and tasted a variety of "bebidas" including
exotic Caipirinhas, Champagne, and more while
enjoying special live entertainment! |
